Las Vegas has been one of the fastest growing cities in the country for the last several years. Such rapid growth strains every type of local resource, from water supply to wildlife habitat to government capacity. In addition, growth that occurs without responsible consideration for the quality of life and the quality of neighborhoods is growth is not engaging the citizens who must live with growth decisions each day. The decisions we make now will reverberate far beyond our own lifetimes.Northwest Residents for Responsible Growth is a citizen group working towards responsible growth and development that will benefit the entire community. Our approach is a collaborative one. We seek to be engaged in the land use and zoning process from the election of our government representatives at both local and state levels to productive dialogue with developers, as well as to educate and empower citizens to be involved in the local decision making process.
